Week one Walk There! Challenge winners
Our 2008 Walk There! Challenge is under way
and CobbRides and The Clean Air
Campaign have already rewarded the following
participants.

each won an iPod Shuffle in a random
drawing from all Walk There! Challenge
participants logging their steps.
Time to get out and Walk There. Take the stairs or
a lunchtime stroll; get out and get healthy while
competing for prizes.
There will be more winners each week in April
and a grand prizewinner of a getaway weekend to
the Inn at Serenbe.

| Info on pedestrian improvements |

Cobb County Department of Transportation and
Cobb Community Transit are hosting a public
information open house Thursday, April 24, for
the CCT Pedestrian Access Improvement Project. This
project features improved sidewalk access and the
addition of bus shelters to selected CCT bus stops.
The meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at
the
Cobb County Central Library, 266 Roswell St., Marietta.
Residents may drop in at any time during the hours
scheduled for the meeting.
